What the conversion preserves
OCR reconstructs text, not the original fonts, tables or page layout. Review recognition errors. For appearance-preserving image placement, use Images to Word instead.
Languages and fonts
Existing Unicode text stays in its original language. The interface and OCR are English-only. Existing document text is not translated. PDF exports use available Unicode fonts and stop when a required glyph is unavailable.
Common questions
Are my files uploaded?
No. Conversion runs in this browser. OCR may download a language model, but the file contents are not sent to that host. Delete now clears this tool’s local references and revokes result links.
Will the result look exactly like the original?
OCR reconstructs text, not the original fonts, tables or page layout. Review recognition errors. For appearance-preserving image placement, use Images to Word instead. Keep the original and compare the output before sharing.
Which files and sizes are supported?
This tool accepts .jpg,.jpeg,.png,.webp up to 25 MB. Spreadsheet previews support 10,000 rows, 100 columns and 100,000 cells. PDF and image table exports support 500 rows and 20 columns. PDF input and rendered output are limited to 20 pages. Legacy DOC and XLS files need conversion to DOCX or XLSX first.
